Comments

Comments are disabled site-wide on Pharma Connect. We do not accept, publish, or store visitor comments, and we do not collect comment content, commenter names, emails, or website fields through comment forms.

If comments are ever enabled in the future, we will collect the data shown in the comment form and may also process the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent to help detect spam and abuse. Any such change will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

If you believe a comment or submission was published in error, please contact us at support@api-fdf.com and we will remove it promptly.

Media

We generally do not provide public upload forms for files or images on this site. If you send us images by email or other channels and we choose to publish them, please be aware of the following:

  • Metadata (EXIF/GPS): Images may contain embedded metadata such as device details, timestamps, and GPS coordinates. Before sending, remove sensitive metadata if you prefer not to share it. We routinely strip EXIF where feasible prior to publication, but we cannot guarantee all metadata is removed in every case.
  • Attribution & rights: By sending images, you confirm you have the right to share them and grant us permission to publish them on this website. If you need an image removed, contact support@api-fdf.com.
  • Third-party hosting & embeds: Some visuals (e.g., book covers, course thumbnails) may be loaded from third-party CDNs or providers. Those services may collect IP addresses, user-agent data, and other technical information under their own privacy policies.
  • Caching/CDN: To improve performance, our CDN or caching layers may temporarily store image files and related technical logs.

If you believe an image reveals personal information or was used without permission, please email support@api-fdf.com and we will review promptly.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage, pixels) to operate the site, measure performance, and improve the user experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.

  • Strictly necessary: required for core functionality such as security, load balancing, or remembering page states (cannot be switched off in our systems).
  • Preferences: remember choices like language or UI settings to make the site more usable.
  • Analytics & performance: help us understand traffic and usage patterns (e.g., page views, referrers) so we can improve content and navigation.
  • Affiliate/attribution: track outbound clicks to book/course providers to attribute referrals where applicable. These may set a short-lived identifier when you click a partner link.
  • Security/anti-abuse: assist with fraud detection, rate limiting, and spam/robot protection.

Specific cookies and retention periods may vary as we update our tools (e.g., analytics vendor changes or CDN settings). Third-party services embedded on the site (for example, content delivery networks, analytics, or partner merchants) may place their own cookies under their respective privacy policies.

Your choices. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling certain cookies may impact site functionality.

Consent. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent and can be withdrawn by adjusting your settings or clearing cookies in your browser. If we implement a consent banner, your selections will be honored on subsequent visits (subject to cookie expiration or browser changes).

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts, widgets). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

  • What third parties may collect: those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
  • Examples we may embed: course/player widgets, social posts (e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter), video platforms (e.g., YouTube), book/product widgets (e.g., Amazon Associates), charts or maps, and external CDNs for assets.
  • Privacy-enhanced modes: where feasible, we use privacy-enhanced options (e.g., youtube-nocookie.com) or static previews to reduce tracking, but we cannot control how third parties handle data once their content loads.
  • Your control: you can block third-party cookies and scripts in your browser settings or via content blockers. Doing so may limit functionality of certain embeds.

Use of embedded content is subject to each provider’s own privacy policy and terms. If you have concerns about a specific embed on our site, contact us at support@api-fdf.com and we will review it promptly.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with third parties only to operate this website, provide features you request, measure performance, comply with law, or protect our rights and users. Typical recipients include:

  • Hosting, CDN, and security providers — to serve the site, cache content, mitigate DDoS, and maintain uptime (may process IP addresses, request headers, and error logs).
  • Analytics services — to understand traffic and improve content (aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, referrers, device/browser info). We do not receive analytics that directly identifies you by name.
  • Email and communications tools — if you contact us or subscribe to updates (email address, message content, and technical delivery data). We currently do not run a public mailing list form; if enabled later, this section applies.
  • Affiliate and attribution partners — when you click book/course links, partners may place identifiers to attribute referrals and calculate commissions. We receive aggregated performance reports, not your payment details.
  • Payment processors (if purchases/donations are introduced) — payment details are handled by the processor and not stored on our servers. We would receive transaction metadata for accounting (e.g., amount, timestamp).
  • Anti-abuse, spam, and fraud prevention — services that help detect automated or malicious activity (IP addresses, user-agent, and behavioral signals).
  • Professional service providers — such as legal, accounting, or compliance advisors where needed to operate our business.
  • Law enforcement and legal requests — where required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or equivalent protections.

We use data processing agreements with our vendors and, where applicable, appropriate safeguards for international transfers (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). A current list of key processors is available on request at support@api-fdf.com. We update this section if our vendors materially change.

How long we retain your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Typical retention periods are:

  • Salary submissions (source emails/messages): up to 24 months after receipt for verification/audit, then either deleted or further anonymized. Published, de-identified salary entries may be kept indefinitely for historical benchmarking.
  • Published content (guides, reviews, listings): retained indefinitely, as it forms part of the site archive. We remove or update on request where appropriate.
  • Contact inquiries (email threads): up to 24 months after the last correspondence, unless we need to keep them longer to resolve an issue or comply with legal obligations.
  • Analytics and performance data: aggregated reports may be kept indefinitely; event-level or IP-level logs are typically retained by our analytics providers for about 14 months (subject to provider defaults and configuration).
  • Security, server, and CDN logs: typically retained for 30–90 days to detect abuse and ensure service reliability.
  • Affiliate/attribution data: partners may retain click identifiers for the duration needed to attribute referrals (often 7–90 days); we receive aggregated performance data without your payment details.
  • Newsletter data (if enabled in the future): retained until you unsubscribe; a minimal suppression record may be kept indefinitely to honor opt-out requests.
  • Cookies and local storage: persist according to their individual lifetimes (see the Cookies section) or until cleared in your browser.
  • Backups: copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion from live systems.

Retention periods can change as we adjust vendors and configurations. Where a legal requirement applies (e.g., accounting/audit), we may retain specific records for the mandated period.

Your rights. You can request deletion of your personal data. Note that we may retain certain information where we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest (for example, to prevent abuse or to maintain accurate opt-out records). Contact: support@api-fdf.com.
